Superside Release Notes: The updates that powered better creative in 2025

TL;DR

We’re a creative service, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have release notes. In 2025, you got: more budget control, Brand Models for on-brand AI-generated assets, Superspace updates, and more creative services. Read to the end to get a peek at what’s next in 2026.

While you’ve been focused on the next launch, the next rebrand, the next campaign, we’ve been focused on improving the systems that make all of that easier to pull off.

Every update we shipped in 2025—every tool, workflow, and feature—was shaped by close collaboration with hundreds of global brands. Each one was built to solve the operational challenges we see every day: cross-functional chaos, wasted creative time, and stalled production pipelines.

Getting great creative work should simply not feel that hard. And that’s why Superside’s innovation and tech are almost as important as our talent.

So watch the video above or read below to see what's new and improved in 2025.

More control, less chaos with teams & budget management

Your team uses Superside. But even within your team, you have more teams or projects with different needs. The Brand team might need a spike in support during a rebrand while Growth or Product Marketing run steady, ongoing work. So, your creative budget should reflect that.

Now you can define separate budgets for each of your teams, adjust them as priorities shift, and keep spend on track.

With clear guardrails and full visibility—all under one shared account in Superspace—you stay in control, move fast, and make every dollar count.

Custom-built Brand Models to scale on-brand imagery

Brand Models are custom AI tools trained on your actual creative work: logos, campaigns, style guides, and imagery. So every visual you generate feels unmistakably like your brand.

Once built, your team can use Brand Models directly inside Figma and FigJam to create brand-aligned photos, illustrations, characters, and 3D assets in seconds.

With built-in prompt support and seamless workflow integration, they make it easy to generate on-brand visuals for fast-paced campaigns, concept testing, and prototyping.

What to Expect as an International Founder at Y Combinator

We had just arrived at sunny Silicon Valley from the snow country – Norway – as the first Norwegian startup accepted into the prestigious Y Combinator. Everybody back home was cheering for us. Our startup, Superside (formerly known as Konsus), (a platform for outsourcing business tasks to a pre-vetted team of experts) had been accepted into the Spring (W16) batch of YC. We had applied all the way from Norway, where Konsus was launched just a few months earlier, and we had started seeing good traction of 10 percent weekly growth.

Superside 101: Our Startup Story

Launched in late 2015, Superside (formerly known as Konsus) today provides an on-demand creative service for close to 3,000 companies. After joining Y Combinator in January 2016, growth accelerated to more than 10% weekly and Superside has been growing rapidly ever since. The Internet has made it easier than ever for companies to grow yet – until recently – tech for productivity has stalled. According to the Harvard Business Review, 40 percent of office time is spent on routine tasks such as PowerPoint, data entry and proofreading. These tasks can be time-consuming for employees, and require skill sets that cannot be automated.
