Methodology
Using Google and Ahrefs, we identified 79 keywords and questions related to AI. We then ran these through Keyword Tool IO to determine which U.S. states and the 100 most populated cities had the highest search volumes for AI. We measured the search volume per 10,000 people in each state and city. Additionally, we used Keyword Tool IO to identify the most searched AI platforms across the U.S. and pinpoint which states and cities had the most AI-related job openings. To gather this data, we analyzed multiple job sites, including Adzuna, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, CareerBuilder and getWork, calculating the average number of AI-related job listings per state and city. All data is accurate as of August 8, 2024.
